Why tests/exams with Pluto notebooks?

  • Pluto notebooks allow tests & exams to be open-book assessments. This takes the evaluation process into a completely new dimension. Students will be able to develop skills entirely different from those that arise from the traditional approach of using a calculator to solve endless simple (rather archaic) numerical problems in macroeconomics.

  • Students will be able to analyze real-world macroeconomic aggregates, confront different ways of looking at particular problems, play with macroeconomic variables like those considered at central banks and governments, and learn all this using a textbook, a computer, and an incredible toolbox.
