Installing Julia on macOS

• For the macOS there are two choices:

  • Download the installer file \(~~\)64-bit\(~~\) in the case of an M-series processor

  • Downloaded the installer file \(~\) 64-bit (.dmg) \(~\) in the case of an Intel or Rosetta processor

  • Both provide a \(~\) Julia-1.8.app

• Installation is the same as any other Mac software: drag the Julia-1.8.app to the Applications Folder’s Shortcut.

• Julia 1.8.5 is installed.
